Ms. Parshall has served as aDirector of Isis sinceSeptember 2000. She has beenour ChiefOperatingOfficer since
December 2007 and previously served as our Chief Financial Officer from June 1994 toDecember 2012. She also serves as our
Corporate Secretary andhas served invarious executive roles sinceNovember 1991. Prior to joining Isis,Ms. Parshall practiced law
at CooleyLLP, outside counsel to Isis, where shewas a partner from1986 to1991.Ms. Parshall is amember of theAmerican,

Dr. Bennett served as ourVice President, Research. FromMarch1993 to June 1995, hewasDirector,Molecular Pharmacology, and
fromMay1992 toMarch1993, hewas anAssociateDirector inourMolecular andCellular Biologydepartment. Prior to joining Isis
in 1989, Dr. Bennettwas employedbySmithKline andFrenchLaboratories invarious research positions. He is an externalmember of
the ScientificAdvisoryBoardof Experimental TherapeuticsCenter inSingapore.
RICHARDS. GEARY, Ph.D.

Dr. Gearywas promoted toSeniorVicePresident, Development inAugust 2008. FromAugust 2003 toAugust 2008,
Dr. Geary served as ourVicePresident, PreclinicalDevelopment. FromNovember 1995 toAugust 2003, he heldvarious positions
within the Preclinical Development department. Prior to joining Isis in1995, Dr. Gearywas Senior ResearchScientist andGroup
Leader for the bioanalytical andpreclinical pharmacokinetics group in theAppliedChemistryDepartment at Southwest Research
Institute.

Dr.Moniawas promoted toSeniorVice President, DrugDiscovery andCorporateDevelopment in January2012. From
February2009 to January2012, Dr.Monia served as ourVicePresident, DrugDiscovery andCorporateDevelopment and from
October 2000 toFebruary2009, he served as ourVicePresident, PreclinicalDrugDiscovery. FromOctober 1989 toOctober 2000 he
heldvarious positionswithinourMolecular Pharmacologydepartment.
