Mr. Jack Yang
Chief Operating Of ficer
Mr. Jack Yang is the Chief Operating Of ficer of the Trustee-
Manager. Mr. Yang has more than 25 years of diverse
experience in property development and management with
14 years on-the-ground experience in China.
Before joining Treasury China Trust, Mr. Yang was with
Metro AG as the Head of Construction and Equipment,
responsible for Metro China’s overal l planning, design,
construction and proper ty management. From 2006 to
2009, Mr. Yang was with Gazeley Ltd, a UK developer that
was formerly owned by Wal-Mart. During his time with
Gazeley, Mr. Yang held various senior positions including
the Managing Director of China with overall responsibility
for Gazeley’s business expansion and operations in China.
As one of the earliest staf f members in China, Mr. Yang
was instrumental in establishing Gazeley’s first project joint
venture and successfully delivered a 45,000 sqm built-to-
suit development for Wal-Mart. Mr. Yang has previously
worked for Shanghai Cambridge Proper ty Development
(part of Hong Kong listed SPG Land Group) and Kerry
Properties Ltd, Hong Kong. Mr. Yang has overseen the
development of a number of large scale projects with total
gross floor area in excess of 500,000sqm.
Mr. Yang graduated from Tong Ji University in 1983 with a
Bachelor of Engineering degree and also holds a Master of
Engineering Degree from the University of British Columbia
in Canada. He is a PEng registered in the Prov ince
of Bri tish Columbia in Canada. He received executive
educat ion f rom Har vard Bus i ness School , Ts i nghua
University and CEIBS.
Mr. Richard Ding
Chief Strategy Of ficer and General Counsel
Mr. Richard Ding is the Chief Strategy Of ficer and General
Counsel of the Trustee-Manager since 2007. Mr. Ding
has over 17 years of experience serving in a number of
senior executive management and legal positions, with
respons ibi l i t i es encompass ing genera l management,
investment management, legal risk management, corporate
compliance, as well as corporate transaction negotiation
and execution where he successfully led the completion of
a wide range of corporate transactions, in particular, cross
border corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and
venture investments, particularly in China.
From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Ding served as General Counsel,
and Director of Strategy and Corporate Transactions for
Visteon Corporation’s Asia Pacif ic operations, where in
addition to his responsibilities as senior legal of ficer in the
region, Mr. Ding was responsible for formulating Visteon’s
Asia Pacific strategy, and leading Visteon’s merger and
acquisitions and joint venture ef forts in the region. From
2000 to 2003, Mr. Ding served as Managing Director of
Concord Venture Capital’s operations in the US where he
was responsible for all of the fund’s operations in the US,
