The Irish Centre in Shanghai
TCT launched the Irish Centre in Shanghai during 2011.
Independently sponsored and operated by TCT, the Irish
Centre is the first non-profit organization in Shanghai that
is dedicated to the cultural, educational and business
exchanges between Ireland and China. The Irish Centre
is managed by a dedicated team appointed by TCT
and operated on a “not for prof it” basis with 100% of
its surplus income invested into the funding of various
charitable mandates undertaken by the TCT Foundation for
the Children of China.
Located in TCT’s signature Central Plaza in Shanghai,
the Irish Centre has been built to a very high standard
and features a multi-function environment including an
Exhibition Gallery, Library and Auditorium in addition to
Conference and Meeting Room facilities which cater for a
wide range of business and social events.
Since its launch, the Irish Centre has successfully hosted a
myriad of cultural and social events well attended by both
local and expatriate communities in China.
