Dividend Reinvestment Service
Through the AmSouth Dividend Reinvestment and Common Stock Purchase Plan,
shareholders with common stock registered in their names can reinvest
their AmSouth dividends in additional shares of common stock and may make
additional optional cash payments of $10 to $5,000 per quarter. AmSouth
assumes all costs associated with the purchase of shares under the Plan.
