Indonesia
Duke Energy maintained a solid presence in Indonesia despite economic and social upheaval:
- A Duke/Fluor Daniel affiliate designed and built the 194 MW power generation facility serving PT Freeport Indonesia's mining operations, owned by a consortium including Duke Energy International;
- Additional 195 MW diesel-fired generating facilities at PT Freeport Indonesia are owned by Duke Energy International and operated by an affiliate of Duke/Fluor Daniel;
- PTNNT Batu Hijau, a 159 MW coal-fired generating facility for which an affiliate of Duke/Fluor Daniel
is engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor; and
- Paiton Private Power, a 1,230 MW coal-fired station for which affiliates of Duke/Fluor Daniel are members of the EPC consortium.
