New issue dollar volume grew in 1Q
U.S. issuance grew 10.4% in 1Q 2004 and Europe grew 42.1%
March accounted for big share of 1Q dollar volume in U.S. market:
- 35.0% of corporate market
- 42.7% of public finance activity
- 44.3% of residential mortgage-backed securities market
- 41.9% of asset-backed market
