Silja Line's floating terminal, Pontus, has been brought to Liverpool to serve the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, whose ship and terminal facilities there are inadequate.
A new vehicle marshalling area will be built in the winter of 2001/2002.
Shown here is SeaCat Rapide, which operates a daily service between Liverpool and Dublin, Ireland, and between Liverpool and Douglas, Isle of Man. This ship was purchased in early 2000.
