Common Stock The initial public offering of Steelcase Inc. Class A Common Stock occurred on February 17, 1998 and was priced at $28.00 per share. The stock opened public trading on the New York Stock Exchange on February 18, 1998 at $33.25 per share and ranged from a market price low of $33.00 to a market price high of $36.25 from February 18 to February 27, 1998, closing at $36.25 on February 27, 1998.
