4,000 dry goods and 1,000 frozen items at a typical location. Improved
transportation methods and more reliable refrigeration brought more choices.
SYSCO now distributes 275,000 products including foods like fresh milk
and chicken, frozen European pastries, broccoli florets, fresh herbs, seafood
