Maya Angelou
BEST SELLING AUTHOR AND POET
Maya Angelou is hailed as one of the great voices of contemporary literature. Ms. Angelou has authored eleven best-selling books including I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings and her current best seller Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now. In 1981, she was appointed to a lifetime position as the first Reynolds Professor of American Studies at Wake Forest University. In 1993, she became the second poet in US History to have the honor of writing and reciting original work at the Presidential Inauguration. Ms. Angelou's poem for Bill Clinton's inauguration was titled ON THE PULSE OF MORNING, for which she was awarded a Grammy award (Best Spoken Word).

Anne Mulcahy began her Xerox career as a field sales representative in 1976 and rose through senior positions in human resources, sales and customer operations before being named CEO in 2001 and chairman in 2002. Ms. Mulcahy is a member of the boards of Catalyst, Citigroup, Inc., Fuji Xerox Company, Ltd., Target Corporation, and Fannie Mae, and is a member of The Business Council.

Barbara Walters joined ABC in 1976 as the first woman to co-host the network news. She became co-host of the news magazine 20/20 in 1984 and serves as co-executive producer and co-host of the Emmy-winning THE VIEW. Prior to joining ABC, she appeared on NBC's TODAY Show for 15 years. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2000.
