16 - INDUSTRY SEGMENT AND OPERATIONS BY GEOGRAPHIC AREAS: |
The Company operates predominantly in
one industry segment: the design, production, marketing and selling
of sports and fitness footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories.
During 1998, 1997 and 1996, sales to one major customer amounted to
approximately 11%, 12% and 12% of total sales, respectively. The geographic
distribution of the Company's revenues, operating income and identifiable
assets, are summarized in the following table. Inter-geographic revenues,
which are recorded at a negotiated mark-up and eliminated in consolidation,
are not material.  |
