REO PROTECTION OS
The new Overland REO Protection OS addresses customers’ needs, providing flexible storage solutions that offer fast access to backup data, seamless compatibility, and minimal management overhead. The heart of REO is its Protection OS software, which simplifies the backup process and most significantly provides instant data restoration. Standard on all REO disk-to-disk appliances, Protection OS uniquely supports backups to disk, virtual tape devices, and virtual tape libraries as well as Disk-to-Disk-to-Tape (D2D2T), providing an expanded range of operability.

Overland is committed to continually developing new, add-on application software modules that meet compelling customer needs, such as remote site management and tape automation efficiency. The new Multi-Site PAC software enables consolidation of backup data from remote sites to a central location.
