Randall R. Ross
Vice President, Human Resources

Randall Ross has over 20 years of experience in human resources management with a proven record of leading human resources organizations at several companies spanning a variety of industries. Ross joined G&K Services in 2011 and currently serves as Vice President, Human Resources. In that role he is responsible for all aspects of human resources at G&K.

Previously, Ross was Chief Human Resource Officer for American Medical Systems, a leading global medical device company. While there, he led all human resources functions across the company’s worldwide network with a presence in 20 countries.

Ross joined American Medical Systems after a nine-year career with Best Buy, a global retailer of technology and entertainment products and services, where he served as Vice President, Human Resources. In addition, he has worked in human resources at Dow Chemical Company, Rockwell Collins International and Target Corporation. He has also held several positions at the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota), including coordinator of consultation and outreach, staff psychologist, adjunct faculty member in the graduate program in Human Resource Development, and instructor for the university’s Center for Business Excellence.

Ross is a licensed psychologist in the state of Minnesota. He has served as a consultant for the news department at KARE 11 (NBC) in Minneapolis and has appeared on various news programs to discuss career and stress-related topics. He has published numerous articles and a book on occupational stress and burnout.

Ross attended the University of Iowa where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and also later received his Ph.D. Ross currently serves on the Boards of Directors for The Children’s Theatre Company and Chaska Valley Family Theatre. He and his wife, Gail, live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with their two daughters.
