Ellie Mae’s Encompass 360® software is an end-to-end, comprehensive enterprise solution that handles most of the functions involved in running the business of originating mortgages: customer relationship management, loan processing, underwriting, preparation of application, disclosure and closing documents, funding, compliance with regulatory and investor requirements and overall enterprise management. An integral part of the functionality we offer is the Encompass NetworkTM, a proprietary, patented electronic platform that allows users to interact and do business with, and order services from the investors and business providers they need to work with in order to process and fund loans.
In late 2009, the Company introduced the “Success-Based Pricing” (SBP) model of SaaS for Encompass. By the end of 2011, the number of active SBP users totaled 19,000.
Currently over half the Encompass lender users subscribe to the SaaS version of Encompass, and “on-demand” solutions (including the SaaS version of Encompass, Encompass Services and the Ellie Mae Network) generated 86% of total revenues in 2011.
