All in all, we are excited about the plan we have set out to accomplish, and we believe our investments will help the Company sustain long-term growth.  

 

 

In 2005 Merit hired 17 new U.S. sales representatives to introduce these products to the market and to prepare for the introduction of more new products. As a value-added service to Merit’s customers and to support our direct sales effort, some of these new reps are field clinicians who will help customers learn how to use our products.

Merit Medical’s mission is to innovate in cardiology and radiology, and we have consistently launched new products in these areas every year since the Company’s incorporation in 1987. Merit products are now used by thousands of clinicians in virtually every country in the world, and we control strong market shares in most segments where we compete. A continual flow of new product improvements and innovations has helped drive Merit’s success in the past and will continue to play a significant role in the future.
