The ICPG also doubled the size of its plastic caulk cartridge injection molding operation in New Smyrna Beach, Florida to support increased demand by a major producer of adhesive and sealant products. The New Smyrna Beach facility also enhanced its printing capabilities by adding a new printing press with six-color capability to support consumer demands for improved graphics on cartridges. Meanwhile, the ICPG increased production capacity for 3-ounce plastic grease tubes to support the needs of those consumers who use these tubes for servicing lawn mowers, boats and other equipment with grease fittings not requiring full-size grease guns.

The K-SAFE® end, one of our newest ICPG products, represents a significant leap forward in consumer convenience. This ring-pull tab and aluminum membrane end for composite and metal cans provides consumers with safety and ease of opening for a variety of critical packaging requirements. The K-SAFE end is currently used on infant formula packages and is now making its market debut on vacuum-packed cans of coffee. Other food manufacturers are watching with great interest to see how consumers respond to the K-SAFE end, which could eventually influence many other customers in the food industry. |
