The following table sets forth certain unaudited consolidated quarterly statement of income data and certain unaudited consolidated quarterly operating data for the years ended December 31, 1999 and 1998. In the opinion of our management, this unaudited information has been prepared on substantially the same basis as the consolidated financial statements appearing elsewhere in this annual report and includes all adjustments (consisting of normal recurring adjustments) necessary to present fairly the unaudited consolidated quarterly data. The unaudited consolidated quarterly data should be read in conjunction with the audited consolidated financial statements and notes thereto appearing elsewhere in this annual report. The results for any quarter are not necessarily indicative of results for any future period.
