Our common stock is traded on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol "SYPR." The following table sets forth, for the periods indicated, the high and low closing sale prices per share of our common stock as reported by the Nasdaq National Market.

As of February 24, 2003 there were 816 holders of record of our common stock. On September 22, 2002, our Board of Directors declared an initial quarterly cash dividend of $0.03 (three cents) per common share outstanding. Cash dividends declared in 2002 totaled $0.06 (six cents) per common share outstanding. Dividends may be paid on common stock only when, as, and if declared by our Board of Directors in its sole discretion.
