Senior Vice President, Strategic Business Units - RadioShack Corporation
Arvin Goldberg serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Units for RadioShack Corporation, a position he was named to in January 2001.
He is responsible for sales and profit growth of all of RadioShack's merchandising and product marketing operations. He leads the underlying strategic direction for all three of RadioShack's Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and also helped lead the design of the Company's current corporate strategic plan.
Goldberg joined the company in 2000 as Senior Vice President of Strategy. In this position, he lead the reorganization of RadioShack's merchandising efforts into three distinct business groups responsible for nearly $5-billion in sales.
Prior to joining Radio Shack, Goldberg was Vice President of National Retail Operations for AT&T Wireless. In one year's time, he transformed a regionally fragmented direct store retail operation into a consistent national chain that became AT&T's most profitable sales channel.
Goldberg attended college at Brooklyn College in New York City, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, and minored in History. He also has attended Executive Education classes in Marketing at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.
