
STU ASIMUS holds the position of Senior
Vice President and General Manager of Connecting
People for RadioShack Corporation.
In this unique role as General Manager, Asimus is responsible for the strategic alliances, finances, marketing, buying and development of all telecommunication and radio communication products.
Asimus, who is beginning his 25th year with RadioShack, originally was hired as a part-time Sales Maker in 1976. Since then, he has worked his way up the various ranks of the company, including serving as a Manager, District Manager, Regional Sales Manager-in-Training, Divisional Vice President of Store Operations, and Senior Vice President and General Manager.
Among his many professional accomplishments, Asimus was RadioShack's first Regional Sales Manager in Training. He also has been recognized with many internal awards, including three-time Leaders Club winner, JVR Award winner, and Tandy Trophy winner as both Regional Manager and Divisional Vice President.
A certified K-12 teacher, Asimus attended
Hartwick College located in Oneonta, New
York, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts
degree in History with minor in political
Science. In addition to his professional
responsibilities with RadioShack, he serves
as a board member of the Arlington, Texas
Women's Shelter.
