Frank M. JaehnertPresident and Chief Executive Officer Frank joined Brady in 1995 as finance director for the Identification Solutions and Specialty Tapes (ISST) group and was appointed as the company's chief financial officer one year later. From January 2002 until March 2003 he served as senior vice president of Brady Corporation and president of the ISST group, responsible for strategy and international growth of Brady's industrial identification, coated products and precision die-cut businesses. In February 2003, he was appointed to his current position, effective April 1, 2003. Prior to joining Brady, Frank served in various financial positions in Germany and the United States for Robert Bosch GmbH, an international manufacturer of automotive, communications, industrial and consumer products, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. He joined Bosch in 1983 and held positions including assistant to the chairman and CEO of Robert Bosch Corporation-U.S., Broadview, Ill; controller and treasurer of Robert Bosch Power Tool Corp., New Bern, N.C.; vice president of S-B Power Tool Company, Chicago, Ill., then a joint venture of Bosch and Emerson Electric Co. Most recently at Bosch, Frank worked closely with senior executives on projects worldwide, including establishing joint ventures in Korea and China. Frank holds the equivalent of a master of business administration degree from the University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany. David R. HawkeExecutive Vice President of Brady Corporation David Hawke is executive vice president of Brady Corporation, responsible for global processes, information technology, new product development, acquisitions and new business development. In addition, he oversees Brady's global manufacturing and logistics operations. He joined Brady in 1979 and served as general manager of the Identification Solutions Division from 1985 to 1991. From 1991 to 1995 he served as managing director of Brady's European businesses. From 1995 to 2003 he served as senior vice president of Brady Corporation and president of Brady's Graphics & Workplace Solutions Group, responsible for strategy and worldwide growth of Brady's maintenance and safety identification, presentation systems and digital color graphics businesses, as well as Brady's direct marketing businesses. In April 2003, he was appointed to his present position. David holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Eau Claire, Wis. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Senior Executive Program. Michael O. OliverSenior Vice President, Human Resources Michael Oliver is senior vice president of human resources, responsible for organizational effectiveness, compensation, benefits, environment, health and safety, employee communications and facilities functions. He joined the Company in 1997 as vice president of human resources. He was appointed to his present position in January 2002. Michael came to Brady from Quest International (a division of Unilever, N.V.), a manufacturer and marketer of fragrances, based in Hoffman Estates, Ill. There he was responsible for the human resources function for North American operations and also provided human resources direction for operations in South America. Prior to that, he served as manager of human resources for Unilever's Lever Brothers Division, Hammond, Ind. Michael has a bachelor's degree in industrial relations from Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind. He also holds a master's degree in industrial relations from Indiana University Northwest, Gary, Ind. Donald E. RearicSenior Vice President - Corporate Finance, Treasurer, and Assistant Secretary Donald Rearic is senior vice president, treasurer, and assistant secretary for Brady Corporation, responsible for treasury, property and liability insurance, internal audit and international tax planning. Prior to joining Brady in 1990, he served as vice president, treasurer and assistant secretary at CSC Industries, Inc., Warren, Ohio, the holding company for Copperweld Steel Company. Donald holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from New York University, New York, N.Y., and a master of business administration degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Penn. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers, Financial Executives Institute, Corporate International Finance Association of Chicago and the Institute of Management Accountants. David MathiesonVice President and Chief Financial Officer David Mathieson joined Brady in 2001 as European Finance Director, based in the U.K. In August, 2003, he was appointed Vice President of Finance for North America, and named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in December, 2003. Prior to joining Brady, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Honeywell Europe, concluding a 20-year career with Honeywell International, Inc., which included positions in Belgium, Denmark, England and the United States. A native of Scotland, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Accountants Institute in the United Kingdom and studied for this qualification at Glasgow College of Commerce and Glasgow Caledonian University. Matt WilliamsonVice President - Brady Americas Matt Williamson is vice president-Brady Americas, responsible for all of Brady's identification businesses in North and South America. Matt joined Brady in 1979 as a sales representative and has served in a variety of leadership roles including regional sales manager, product group manager, U.S. national sales manager, director of marketing, and vice president and general manager. In 1998, Matt served as vice president and general manager of the Identification Solutions division until he was promoted to vice president and general manager of Brady's global high performance identification business in 2001. He assumed his current role as vice president-Brady Americas region in April 2003. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tom FelmerVice President - Direct Marketing Americas Tom Felmer joined Brady in 1989 as a product manager and held several sales and marketing positions until being named vice president and general manager of Brady's U.S. Signmark Division in 1994. In 1999 Tom and his family moved to Europe where he led the European Signmark business for two years, then gained additional responsibility for the combined European Seton and Signmark businesses, which he also held for two years. In 2003 Tom returned to Milwaukee where he was responsible for Brady's global sales and marketing processes, Brady Software businesses, and the due diligence/integration of the EMED acquisition. In June 2004, he was promoted to vice president-Direct Marketing Americas. Peter SephtonVice President - Brady Europe Peter Sephton is vice president of Brady-Europe, responsible for managing all of Brady's business in the region. Peter joined Brady's Seton-UK operation as managing director in March 1997, where he was responsible for Brady's Seton direct marketing business there. In 2001, Peter assumed the role of managing director for Brady's identification solutions business in the UK. He was promoted to vice president of Brady-Europe in April 2003. Prior to joining Brady, Peter held a variety of managerial roles with Tate and Lyle Plc, Sutcliffe Speakman Plc and Morgan Crucible PLc. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University College Cardiff. He has also attended courses at the University of North Carolina, The London Business School, IDM Business to Business Certification Program, and Business German at Leeds Met University. Allan KlotscheVice President - Brady Asia-Pacific, Global Die Cut and Strategic Account manager As vice president for Brady's Asia Pacific region, Allan Klotsche is responsible for leading Brady's identification solutions and direct marketing business in the region. Due to the integrated global needs of our die-cut customers, Allan also manages Brady's global die-cut business and Strategic Account Manager program. Since joining Brady in 1988 as a sales representative, Allan has held a variety of sales, technical and marketing assignments. From 1996 to 1998, Allan worked in South Korea to form the Company's first joint venture; he helped to open the first Brady office in Beijing, China; and was instrumental in the development of the Company's long-term China plan. In 1998, he began managing Brady's global die-cut business in his role as vice president and general manager of the Precision Tapes group until he assumed his current roles in April 2003. Allan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1987 with a marketing degree and returned in 1994 to receive his master's degree through the executive MBA program Dr. Sanwal P. SarrafVice President Research and Development Dr. Sanwal Sarraf joined Brady in 2003 as Vice President responsible for global Research and Development and New Product Development. Prior to joining Brady, he served as General Manager and Vice President of JDS Uniphase Corp. responsible for Worldwide Optical Networks components business. Sanwal had an 18 year career with Kodak which included various positions in R&D and business management leading to General Manager and Vice President responsible for the Digital Printing and Publishing business. Sanwal holds a Ph.D. from University of Rochester in Laser-Matter Interaction, M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Rochester, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also completed Executive Management Programs from Columbia University and Kellogg School of Management. Keith KaczanowskiVice President, Process Improvement and Information Technology Keith Kaczanowski is the vice president of process improvement and information technology, responsible for Brady's global infrastructure, operations, support, application development, ERP implementation, and e-business activities. He joined Brady in 1980 and was appointed to his current position in 2001. In 1999 Keith was named Vice President of Business Process Development responsible for Brady's process improvement initiative and ERP implementation (known as Eclipse). Keith served as general manager for Brady's operations in Australia from 1996 through 1999. Prior positions include operations manager, controller, production control manager, estimating supervisor and cost accountant. Keith holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master's degree in business administration also from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dan JohnsonVice President Corporate & Business Development Dan Johnson is the vice president of corporate and business development, responsible for Brady's global acquisition strategy and new market development, which are key growth initiatives for Brady. He joined Brady in 2000 as vice president and general manager for Brady's safety and facility identification business and was appointed to his current position in 2003. Prior to Brady, Dan served in various sales, marketing and business management positions with several Fortune 1000 companies including G.E., Square D and Magnetek. Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1977 with a degree in industrial engineering. He received his master of business administration degree in 1990, also from the University of Wisconsin. |
