Management’s Discussion and Analysis (Continued)

In September 2001, the FASB issued SFAS No. 144, “Impairment of Long-Lived Assets to be Disposed of,” which updates accounting and reporting standards for the recognition and measurement of impairment of longlived assets to be held and used or disposed of by sale. The Company adopted SFAS No. 144 on January 1, 2002. The Company does not expect the adoption of SFAS No. 144 to have a material impact on the Company’s earnings or other comprehensive income.
