Outback's Italian partner continues to deliver record breaking success in same store sales, with the Naples store being the first to exceed annual sales of $4 million. Carrabba's opened 11 new stores in markets including Dallas, Kansas City Cleveland, Cincinnati, Nashville, Savannah and Tallahassee. By year's end, there were 81 Carrabba's across the country.



Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba continue to bring their passion to the business. Rightly so. As the heart and soul of Carrabba's restaurants, it is the Uncle-and-Nephew-team who keep the family's legacy at the forefront of the business. Every restaurant opening begins with either Damian or Johnny imparting the history of the family and their recipes to employees and guests.

Looking to the future, be sure to tulle in to the PBS cooking show, "Cucina Amore." Beginning in April 2001, Jonny and Damian will debut as hosts of this highly-viewed show, now in its fourth season.
