A founding partner of Qorvis Communications,
the largest independent PR firm based in the Washington area, Karen
has more than 25 years of experience in corporate communications and
investor relations. Prior to joining Qorvis’ predecessor company,
The Poretz Group, in 1996, Karen served as Vice President of Corporate
Communications at PRC. She was twice named Business Communicator of
the Year for the Washington Chapter of the International Association
of Business Communicators (IABC) and is now serving a two-year term
on IABC’s Research Foundation board of trustees.
