Procedures to disable pop-up blockers are all different, depending on the software. To disable other pop-up blocking software, try the following steps:
1. Open the program
2. Look for the options on the menu
3. Check for a button to disable
4. Close the program
5. Look for “Help” files in your pop-up blocker as well for instructions.
Many pop-up programs will also let you temporarily disable them by clicking on the program icon contained in the systems tray located near the bottom right hand side of your Windows screen. For some programs, you can right click on the icon to disable and re-enable the blocker later.
You can also try holding down the “CTRL” key while clicking on the link to the course to temporarily disable some pop-up blockers.
