McGraw-Hill expects to benefit from new federal legislation, funding

• Testing

  • Reading and math: Test grades 3-to-8 beginning in 2005-2006 school year
  • Science:Test one grade in each grade span of 3-to-5, 6-to-9, 10-to-12 beginning in 2007-2008 school year
  • $490 million allocated for testing
    • Each state will receive $3 million this year
  • Opportunity for CTB/McGraw-Hill
