Left and above: The Pride Rio de
Janeiro completed construction and underwent sea
trials in March 2004. The rig has since been deployed to
Brazil. Equipped with modern drilling and pipe-handling
systems, the rig and its sister, the Pride
Portland, are enhanced versions of the successful
Pride Brazil and Pride Carlos Walter
semisubmersibles, currently working for Petrobras
offshore Brazil. |
