Background
Opera Software ASA was founded by Jon S. von Tetzchner and Geir Ivarsøy in Oslo, Norway in 1995. They sought to develop and sell browser solutions to the PC desktop market. Since 1998, the Company has focused on browser solutions for the emerging Internet device browser market in addition to the PC desktop market.
