Amer Husaini started his career with GE Mobile Communications in design engineering. He capitalised on his engineering experience and held project and product management responsibilities at Ericsson. In December 2002 Amer transferred to Motorola from AT & T Wireless Services where he was responsible for the wireless subscriber equipment strategy and development.
At Motorola, Amer heads up product operations for the Personal Communications Sector in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Within this role he is responsible for the creation and delivery of compelling wireless handset propositions that address customer, market, corporate enterprise and consumer needs. Amer's responsibilities are diverse, his team are involved in areas covering: account strategy, handsets, accessories, content and services as well as the overall management of new technology introduction and migration.
Most recently, Amer has been responsible for the highly successful EMEA launch of the Motorola MPx200, the first handset featuring Microsoft Windows Mobile.
