Douglas Barre
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Products
|
Douglas Barre is Senior Vice President responsible for product
strategy and software development. Mr. Barre is responsible for the
development activities of the five Compuware development labs,
encompassing more than 130 products in eight product families.
Doug joined Compuware in 1995 as general manager of the UNIFACE
lab in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. While at the UNIFACE lab, Doug was
responsible for re-engineering and repositioning Compuware's UNIFACE as a
development environment for building, renewing and integrating strategic
applications.
Prior to joining Compuware, Doug spent more than 31 years in Information
Technology leadership positions. The bulk of his time was spent as Chief
Information Officer (CIO) for several Canadian companies, including Bell
Mobility, AT&T/Cantel, Esso Resources Inc. and Texaco. Doug led a re-
engineering project at Bell mobility for which he was named Canada's CIO
of the year by CIO Magazine.
Doug pursued his education in administrative
studies and management from York University and the University of Western
Ontario.

Christian J. Bockhausen
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
|
Christian J. Bockhausen is Sr. Vice President and CIO responsible for
Compuware's worldwide information services (IS). His duties encompass all
areas of global IS including Compuware's data center, networks,
telecommunications, data security and application and Internet
development.
Chris joined Compuware in 1996 as Vice President and director
of Compuware's Farmington Hills, Michigan lab. As lab director, he was
responsible for all development and maintenance activities related to
Compuware's suite of testing and implementation products.
Prior to joining
Compuware, Chris held numerous key leadership positions at Nations Credit
(CIO), Chrysler Corporation (CIO of Chrysler Credit), Renault (Director,
IT Operations and Telecommunications, Paris) and American Motors
Corporation (Director, IS Operations).
Chris simultaneously earned a
Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State
University.

Elizabeth Chappell
Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications and
Investor Relations
|
Elizabeth Chappell is Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications
and Investor Relations. She is responsible for internal employee
communications and external communications with investors, industry
analysts and local, national and trade media.
Beth sits on Compuware's Board of Directors, a position she has held since
1997. She is also a member of the Compuware Executive Committee.
Beth joined Compuware from The Chappell Group, Inc., a consulting firm she
founded in 1995. The Chappell Group specialized in strategic planning,
organizational development, sales and marketing strategies and the design
of customer-centered processes. Prior to forming The Chappell Group, she
was Global Services Vice President at AT&T, where she led relationship
sales efforts with large client companies around the world. In her 15
years at AT&T, Beth held a variety of line and staff management positions
ranging from sales and marketing assignments to engineering, operations
and product management roles.
Beth is involved in a number of civic and community activities. She
serves on the boards of Handleman Corporation, the Michigan Economic
Development Corporation (Vice Chair), Hospice of Michigan, the Michigan
Economic Growth Authority, the Ford Senior Players Tournament and the
Detroit Economic Club.
Beth holds a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University. She also
attended the Executive Management Program at the University of California,
Berkeley.

Thomas Costello, Jr.
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
|
Thomas Costello, Jr. is Vice President and General
Counsel, responsible for providing strategic legal counsel and directing
the day-to-day operations of Compuware's legal department.
Tom joined Compuware as General Counsel in 1985. He has served as
Secretary of the Compuware Board of Directors since May of 1995.
He is a past Chairperson of the Computer Law Section of the State Bar of
Michigan. He has authored articles and been a speaker on a wide range or
intellectual property law topics that affect the computer industry.
Tom serves as a part-time faculty member in the Masters of Business
Administration program at Wayne State University. He also serves on the
Board of Directors of the Renaissance Club and is a member of the Board of
Trustees of the Generation of Promise Program.
Tom is a cum laude graduate of both Ohio University and Thomas M. Cooley
Law School.

Donna Debrodt
Vice President, Corporate Marketing
|
Donna Debrodt is Vice President of Corporate Marketing
responsible for directing and coordinating all facets of Compuware
marketing worldwide. Specifically, Donna's areas of responsibility
include managing the Compuware brand, overseeing strategic marketing
initiatives and directing the packaging and appearance of marketing
materials. She also coordinates marketing activities between development
labs, the Compuware Professional Services Division and Country Sales
Offices.
During her four years at Compuware, Donna has served in a number of roles.
Immediately prior to her appointment as Vice President, Donna was Director
of Corporate Marketing. Her initial post at Compuware was Marketing
Manager for the File and Data Management product family.
Before joining Compuware in 1995, Donna worked at the University of
Washington, where she was directed the account management department of
their in-house communications agency. She also served as marketing
communications manager for Goal Systems, International between 1989 and
1991. Prior to that, she worked as director of communications for
Database Utility Group, and also worked for Battelle Laboratories and
Conde Nast Publications. Donna holds an MBA from the University of
Washington, specializing in marketing and information technology.

Laura Fournier
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
|
Laura Fournier is Senior Vice President and CFO responsible for
worldwide financial reporting, accounting, internal audit and taxation.
Her responsibilities also include the treasury function, strategic
planning and all business practices and policies related to finance.
During her eight years at Compuware, Laura has held the Director of
Internal Audit and Controller positions. Prior to joining Compuware, she
was a senior manager at Laventhol and Horwath, a public accounting firm.
Laura is a Certified Public Accountant and holds baccalaureate degrees in
education from Central Michigan University and accounting and finance from
the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.

Henry A. Jallos is Executive Vice President, Products Division.
He has been with Compuware for 10 years and is responsible for all product
sales, sales people and pre-sales support worldwide. Hank previously held
a number of key positions at Honeywell prior to joining Compuware.

Peter Karmanos, Jr.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
|
Peter Karmanos, Jr. is Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief
Executive Officer and co-founder of Compuware Corporation. Headquartered
in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Compuware is a global provider of software
solutions and professional services. With trailing 12-month revenues of
more than $2 billion and more than 15,000 employees, Compuware is one of
the world's largest independent software vendors and professional services
organizations. In 26 years of leadership under Karmanos, Compuware has
become Michigan's sixth largest exporter, offering more than 100 software
products from offices located in 45 countries.
Karmanos is a co-owner of three hockey teams: the Carolina Hurricanes
(National Hockey League), the Plymouth Whalers (Ontario Hockey League) and
the Florida Everblades (East Coast Hockey League). Committed to youth
hockey, Karmanos began building a premier youth hockey program in 1974 for
the children of Southeast Michigan. Internationally recognized for its
sophisticated player development and winning tradition, his dedication to
youth hockey has, for 25 years, provided ongoing support to numerous youth
teams at various levels.
In memory of his late wife, Karmanos made gifts of over $26 million to
establish the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, the only nationally
recognized center to be named for a woman. His gift was the largest ever
given to fight cancer in Michigan. Now remarried to wife Debra, both are
deeply devoted to philanthropic causes and generously support the Detroit
Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Oakland County
Special Olympics and the Judson Center. Karmanos continues to raise money
for cancer research nationwide through "Race for the Cure," an event Debra
has been instrumental in coordinating for Compuware. Both she and
Karmanos co-chaired the first major fund-raiser in 1995 for HAVEN, a
shelter for victims of domestic violence. Debra continues to serve HAVEN
as a board member.
Karmanos is a member of the Board of Directors for the Barbara Ann
Karmanos Cancer Institute, the North American Hockey League, USA Hockey,
Worthington Industries, Automation Alley and Detroit Renaissance. He is
also a member of the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute Board of
Trustees and the National Hockey League Board of Governors.
Karmanos is the recipient of many awards including the Great American
Traditions award from B'nai B'rith, the Business Hall of Fame award from
Junior Achievement and the Gerald R. Ford Sportsperson of the Year award
from the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. For his work with youth hockey
programs, he was recently awarded the prestigious Lester Patrick Trophy,
one of hockey's highest honors.
Karmanos attended Wayne State University in Detroit. The proud father of
three sons and one grandson, he lives in metropolitan Detroit with his
wife, Debra.

Denise Knobblock
Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Administration
|
Denise Knobblock is Executive Vice President, Human Resources and
Administration responsible for all corporate real estate, facilities,
purchasing, shipping and receiving, fleet operations and administrative
support.
During her 11 years at Compuware, Denise has held positions of increasing
responsibility in facilities and administration including Manager,
Director, and Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Compuware, Denise
was employed by the Detroit Free Press for 10 years where, as a manager in
the circulation department, she was responsible for customer service and
the carrier billing system.
Denise holds a baccalaureate degree in business administration from Mercy
College of Detroit (now the University of Detroit Mercy).

Leslie L. Murphy
Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Leslie L. Murphy came to Compuware through the acquisition
of XA Systems where he was head of development. The XA products are now
part of the Compuware File-AID family. Les heads up the strategic
technology team at Compuware.

Joseph A. Nathan
President & Chief Operating Officer
|
Joseph A. Nathan is President and Chief Operating Officer
responsible for establishing strategy and directing the day-to-day
activities of Compuware's operating divisions.
Joe has held several key technical and management positions at Compuware
prior to assuming his present responsibilities. From December 1990 to
October 1994 he was responsible for the Software Products Division. The
integrated set of systems software products this division produces is
designed to improve the productivity of data processing professionals in
application development, implementation and maintenance. Compuware
software products are used by more than 14,000 customers worldwide.
Prior to this assignment, Joe was the executive in charge of the
Professional Services Division. Compuware's Professional Services
Division is comprised of more than 11,000 professionals working across a
broad spectrum of technologies including mainframe, mid-range and
client/server platforms. The Professional Services Division offers
clients business systems analysis, design, programming and implementation,
as well as software conversion and systems planning and consulting.
Joe joined Compuware in 1981 as a technical consultant responsible for
establishing the Systems Software Services Group. Prior to joining
Compuware, Joe acquired 11 years of data processing experience in computer
operations, application system development and technical support as an
employee of National Bank of Detroit, Manufacturer's National Bank and
Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company. Joe holds an MBA degree from the
University of Detroit.

Wesley Peterson
Vice President, Worldwide Recruiting
|
Wesley Peterson is Vice President of Worldwide Recruiting
responsible for the strategic direction of worldwide recruiting efforts
and the day-to-day operations of Compuware's Recruiting department. He
oversees the efforts of more than 200 Compuware recruiters and establishes
standards, processes and procedures for worldwide recruiting.
Wes joined Compuware in 1990 and has served the company as Product Line
Sales Manager and Director of Sales Development. He was appointed Vice
President of Worldwide Recruiting in 1997. Prior to joining Compuware,
Wes spent seven years working in sales for Centura Software.
Wes holds a BA in Business Administration and an MBA, both from Minnesota
State University.

Phyllis Recca
Executive Vice President, Professional Services
|
Phyllis Recca is Executive Vice President of Professional
Services responsible for managing Professional Services worldwide, for
setting the strategic direction of the division and for expanding the
presence of Professional Services in the United States and Europe.
Phyllis began her career with Compuware's Professional Services division
23 years ago and has extensive experience in all facets of the division's
operations. She has held several key positions in the division including
Sales Director; Branch Manager, Baltimore/Washington D.C.; and Vice
President, Mideast Region. Phyllis was instrumental in negotiating
Compuware's global IT productivity partnership with Ford Motor Company.
She also played a significant role in the professional services
partnership Compuware established with Bank One Corporation, an agreement
which brought more than 225 of the bank's employees to the Professional
Services Division.
Phyllis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Penn
State University.

Ronald D. Sleiter
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Ronald Sleiter is Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
responsible for sales and support in Compuware's Software Products
Division. Ron oversees the staffing, organization and strategic operation
of the Compuware Worldwide Sales organization.
Prior to joining Compuware, Ron was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and
Marketing for Centura Software. He also held a number of management
positions at Control Data Corporation, primarily in the area of software
design, development and support for IBM compatible mass storage. Ron began
his career as an applications programmer for the Boeing Corporation.
Ron joined Compuware in 1990 as Vice President of Product Line Sales. He
was appointed Vice President of North American Sales in 1994, before being
appointed to his current role in 1998.
Ron earned a BA from the University of Minnesota.

Eliot Stark
Executive Vice President, Finance
|
Eliot R. Stark is the Executive Vice President of Finance
responsible for mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning and
corporate recruiting.
Prior to joining Compuware, Eliot was affiliated with Comerica Inc., where
he introduced the Corporate Development function in the mid-1980s, went on
to hold responsibility for Information Technology and Corporate Real
Estate, and served as Comerica's Senior Vice President, Corporate
Development and Planning.
Eliot holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University and
an MBA from the University of Detroit. A Detroit native, Eliot resides in
Troy with his wife and two sons.
