The Internet of Things (IoT) delivers new levels of process efficiency, access and control using networks based on embedded and remote sensors that can track and control equipment and devices. With Semtech LoRa™ (long-range) wireless technology, cities can become smarter and more efficient through the use of smart metering, smart irrigation, smart lighting and other smart resource management and infrastructure systems. Semtech technology is a key enabler of the IoT market and other industrial markets including the automotive, video broadcast and medical markets.
