What area of TriZetto is growing most rapidly? We expect to increase revenue from $89 million in 2000 to over $200 million in 2001. That increase will be driven by growth in all three of our businesses. ASP Solutions and HealthWeb have the potential for the most rapid rate of growth. Our software licensing business, HealtheWare, features the premium Erisco and RIMS brands, which are already well-established in the payer and benefits administration markets. HealtheWare is expected to grow at a more moderate rate. Who does TriZetto compete with? On the ASP front, we don't have a direct competitor focused solely on healthcare that has our breadth of products and services and hosts software from multiple vendors. There are other companies that outsource information technology services to multiple industries, including healthcare. As an alternative to the ASP, our customers can choose to license software and install it themselves, lease software from individual software vendors on a monthly basis, or buy multiple pieces of software and pay a consultant to put it together. TriZetto, of course, offers licensed software through HealtheWare. What sets TriZetto apart is that we are one powerful source for everything a customer may need. How does TriZetto market and sell its products? We market our services through a direct sales force as well as direct mail, print advertising and telemarketing. Our nationwide sales force is divided into two market segments-payers and providers. The sales teams are capable of selling our entire line of products and services for their respective market segments, which increases our ability to land a sale with nearly any existing customer or prospect. In January 2001, we launched an aggressive marketing campaign for both payers and providers, and we have been encouraged by the response. How will investors track your progress? With the premium Erisco and RIMS brands, we expect our HealtheWare business to continue generating significant software license wins. Look for us to generate ASP wins with payers, benefit administrators and providers and to cross-sell these services to our Erisco and RIMS customers. Now that Erisco and HealthWeb are integrated, look for HealthWeb to become a leading Internet platform for health plans in the United States. We expect HealthWeb to open the back-end systems of many Erisco customers to the Internet, as they are currently doing for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. In the near future, we expect that HealthWeb will be able to do the same for RIMS customers. |
