2000	January	Acquired Healthcare Media Enterprises, Inc., a Petaluma-based software development company with operations in Trivandrum, India.
	March	Announced merger with IMS Health Incorporated, the global leader in information services for the pharmaceutical industry and parent company of Erisco Managed Care Technologies, Inc., the nation's leading provider of core administrative software for health plans.
	May	Announced termination of merger agreement with IMS, and the creation of a strategic alliance in its place. The alliance included the acquisition of Erisco, a subsidiary of IMS.
	June	Launched fully integrated Erisco's Facets HealthWeb product, allowing Erisco health plan customers to communicate with providers, enrollees and employer groups over the Internet.
	July	Announced a new organizational structure with three strategic business units, in part to accommodate the pending Erisco acquisition. The business units created were ASP Solutions, Software Engines (now HealtheWare) and HealthWeb.
	September	Signed an ASP contract with Maxicare Health Plans, Inc.-TriZetto's first ASP payer contract above 100,000 members.
	October	Completed acquisition of Erisco.
	November	Announced agreement to acquire Resource Information Management Systems, Inc. (RIMS), the nation's largest provider of automated claims-processing technology and services for the benefits administration market.
	December	Completed acquisition of RIMS. RIMS' software license business was integrated with the Software Engines business unit, which was re-named HealtheWare. Announced joint initiative with Deloitte Consulting to create MyHealthplan™, which allows health plan enrollees to design their own individualized healthcare benefits packages. TriZetto ends the year with approximately 600 customers and 1,600 employees.
2001	January	Erisco named first software vendor to participate in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association's Inter-plan Teleprocessing Services (ITS) Vendor Program.
	February	Launched ASP product bundles at Healthcare Information Management Systems Society tradeshow in New Orleans. Product bundles are pre-integrated, can be implemented rapidly, and come with performance guarantees.
