Lightweight Gypsum Facing Paper A joint venture investment in fourdrinier technology in the uncoated recycled boxboard mill at Newport, IN (Premier Boxboard Ltd.), combined with proprietary product development, has resulted in a gypsum facing paper with all the strength, but less weight than conventional products. This product benefits wallboard producers because it gives them better plant utilization and lower costs for freight and energy.
