Find the contaminant. The typical research laboratory uses 200 liters of water a week, and that water has to be ultra ultra pure. For example, ribonuclease (RNAse), even at parts per trillion levels, is a contaminant that can wipe out weeks of critical life science research work. Millipore had the first system with documented performance in removing RNAse from lab water. |
