Annual Meeting The 2000 Annual Meeting of Shareowners is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m., CST on February 20, 2001, at the University of Chicago– Gleacher Center.

Shareowners are invited to attend this meeting, take part in discussions of company affairs and meet personally with the directors and officers responsible for the operations of Navistar.

A Proxy Statement and Form of Proxy will be mailed to each shareowner on or about January 16, 2001.
