• Located in Dayton, Ohio, the Dayco Industrial World Headquarters consisted of Dayco Fluid Management, Dayco Power Transmission and the Dayco Retail (Swan Garden Hose) businesses.

• Parker acquired Dayco’s Fluid Management Business on October 19, 2001. (In August 2001, Carlisle Companies Inc. purchased Dayco’s Power Transmission Business and Tekni-Plex, Inc. acquired Dayco’s retail Swan Garden Hose unit.)

• Dayco’s Fluid Management Business operates 29 facilities in the United States, Australia, Canada and United Kingdom. Its technical centers, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and sales offices are strategically located to provide superior service to major customers in key markets.

• The company employs 2,365 people. Last year’s sales totaled $304 million.

• The company serves key niche markets including underground mining, petroleum, industrial machinery, agriculture, construction, commercial lawn and turf care, and forestry.

• In the Fluid Power category, Dayco offers a full line of hydraulic hose, fittings, adaptors, and crimpers. Hydraulic hose is available from low pressure to very-high-pressure hose rated at 10,000 PSI.

• Dayco also offers a wide variety of industry-standard fittings and adaptors with specialized configurations. The crimper line goes from a 30-ton-rated portable unit to a 125-ton-rated production machine.

• Dayco industrial hose offers perhaps the greatest variety within a product line. Specialized hoses are made to transfer anything from caustic anhydrous ammonia, to fluids (like gasoline), to particles (like cereal) to particulates in suspension (like concrete). Each variety of hose demands an application-specific tube reinforcement and cover material.

• The Alliance, Nebraska plant is one of the world’s most modern high pressure, spiral wire reinforced hose plants.
