Letter to our Stakeholders

2009 was a challenging year, but as we have done in the past, Men’s Wearhouse responded with the decisive actions that difficult times require. By significantly reducing costs, increasing our business efficiencies and enhancing our value proposition, we were able to increase our market share and leave ourselves well positioned for the future. In doing so, we maintained our focus on the employees, customers and financial stability that have kept our Company strong in both good times and bad.

Maintaining Our Corporate Culture

Regardless of the economic environment, our employees remain our key stakeholders. We are a customer-driven business, and the ability of our employees to interact with our customers and build strong relationships is fundamental to our continued success. In 2009, our employees appreciation of the Company was reflected in their willingness to adapt to challenging circumstances.

During this difficult time, management worked hard to be fair, respectful and compassionate. We believe that our being again named to Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work for List, which is based on employee feedback, attests to the fact that our corporate culture remains strong.
