In 1998 we commenced construction of a new 73,000 square foot leased research and development facility adjacent to our current headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. This new state-of-the-art facility, scheduled for occupancy in June 1999, will accommodate over 120 scientific personnel and allow us to expand our research and development capabilities by consolidating Guilford’s medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry and product development activities in a single location.
