Notes:
- Now, at Robert Mondavi, we are already on the short list of wines that are productive and profitable for wholesalers. Obviously we aren’t going to be squeezed out in this distribution bottleneck. But in an increasingly crowded market, we have to stay ahead of the competitive curve, just as we have done for the past 35 years.
- To do so, we are investing our time and resources in two major areas:
- Providing a portfolio of “must have” brands from Woodbridge to Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve to Opus One to Ornellaia . . . so that consumers and trade clamor for these wines; and
- Structuring our sales force and selling efforts in more focused customer-friendly approaches.
