The HealtheWare business consists of TriZetto's newly acquired software development and licensing businesses, Erisco and RIMS. With the addition of these premium brands, we achieved two important strategic objectives at once. First, we instantly became the largest provider of administrative software in the payer and benefits administration markets. Second, we significantly expanded the mix of products and services we offer to customers and created numerous crossing-selling opportunities among our ASP, HealthWeb and HealtheWare businesses.

Founded in 1968, Erisco has earned its reputation as the leading provider of information technology for healthcare payers. Erisco systems are used by over 125 payers organizations serving approximately 70 million lives, including managed care organizations, managed indemnity carriers, and third party administrators. Erisco's blue chip customer list reads like the who's who of health plans, including 27% of all Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations in the country. Erisco's products provide the administrative systems that are fundamental to a well-run healthcare organization.

Erisco's most advanced product line is Facets®-a highly functional, production-proven software for healthcare payer administration. Facets, available on a licensed or ASP basis, can be expanded to support the heavy transaction demands of even the largest managed care organizations. Erisco's Managed Care Enterprise™ strategy integrates Facets with other software used by the health plan to ensure a comprehensive approach to information technology throughout the organization.

Facets and TriZetto's HealthWeb Internet technology have been integrated and are currently being offered to Erisco's health plan customers. The combined Facets-HealthWeb product allows customers to communicate and engage in commerce with providers, employer groups and members on a real-time basis over the Internet.

Introduced in 1980, Erisco's Facts is an established product designed for the indemnity insurance market, specifically managed indemnity, group insurance and third party administrators. Facts software is used for the essential administrative transactions of an indemnity plan, including member enrollment, rating and premium calculation, billing and claims processing. Over 80 customers serving 40 million enrollees currently use Facts-more than any other competing packaged software in the U.S. healthcare industry.

Founded in 1982, we believe RIMS is the nation's largest provider of automated claims processing technology for benefits administrators. RIMS serves over 300 customers with 20 million enrollees, and its software is used to process nearly 180 million claims annually. One of the most complicated processes in healthcare is that of comparing a claim against the individual benefits of the enrollee and the contract with the provider, and then adjusting the claim accordingly. RIMS applications automate this process and they are available to customers on an ASP or licensed basis.

QicLink™, RIMS' core software for benefits administrators, significantly reduces claims processing costs while increasing staff productivity. RIMS NetworX™ was the first enterprise-wide management system and claims re-pricing solution for preferred provider organizations (PPOs). ClaimsExchange provides Internet connections that allow PPOs and healthcare claims payers to exchange information online. RIMS products are being integrated with HealthWeb technology to expand the Internet capabilities of RIMS software.

With the addition of HealtheWare's businesses, TriZetto has become a single, powerful source of information technology products and services for payers and benefits administrators-from traditional software licensing to application hosting to Internet platforms.
