We are confident that
HealthWeb will become
the Internet platform of
choice for health plans.

HealthWeb is a nascent business, but with 14 customers representing 12 million enrollees, it has already garnered the largest share of the health plan market for Internet platforms.

The Gartner Group projects that by the end of 2003, 50% of healthcare payers will respond to 40% of transactions and customer inquiries using Internet technologies. HealthWeb, which is the first Internet platform designed specifically for healthcare administrators and medical professionals, is well positioned to capitalize on that trend. It provides a powerful way for health plans and physicians to squeeze administrative costs out of the healthcare system, thus freeing up resources for medical services or other uses.

HealthWeb's electronic desktop is easy to use and personalized for each customer, providing access to all the business applications and content needed to perform typical healthcare tasks. It allows all healthcare participants-health plans, providers, employers, brokers and members-to exchange information and conduct business on a secure basis over the Internet. For example, it allows a health plan member to check benefits, eligibility or claim status, change primary care physicians, or order an identification card, 24 hours a day.

HealthWeb is designed to work with virtually any existing software that a health plan may have. Our proprietary technology connects to these legacy systems and allows us to install HealthWeb quickly-generally within three to four months-while minimizing disruption to the customer's business. HealthWeb is licensed to the health plan, which typically pays an upfront fee for licensing and an annual maintenance fee thereafter, or a fee for each enrollee each month.

We are confident that HealthWeb will ultimately become the Internet platform of choice for health plans, given its advanced technology, ease of use and integration with TriZetto's premium Erisco's Facets software engine.
