P. Wareham Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Beckman Coulter, Inc. Mr. Wareham has held many positions at Beckman including Vice President Diagnostic Systems Group from 1984 to 1993, and President and COO, 1993 to 1998. Previously, he was President of Norden Laboratories, Inc., of SmithKline Beckman Corporation, which he joined in 1968. Mr. Wareham is a director and Chairman-Elect of the Health Industry Manufacturers Association (HIMA) and a member of the Center for Corporate Innovation. Board member since 1993. |

Welch Foundation. He is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Institute of Medicine. Dr. Dervan is a director of GeneSoft.
