Geographic Segments
GenCorp's operations are located primarily in Canada, Europe and the United States. Inter-area sales are not significant to the total sales of any geographic area. Unusual items included in operating profit pertained to United States operations.

Capital Stock
The Company's common stock is listed on the New York and Chicago Stock Exchanges. At November 30, 1998 and December 31, 1998, there were approximately 12,400 holders of record of the Company's common stock. During 1998, 1997 and 1996, the Company paid quarterly cash dividends on its common stock of $0.15 per share.
