2007 KEY HIGHLIGHTS
COMPLETED TRANSFORMATION
During 2007, the majority of iPass revenue shifted from dial-up to broadband, software and service fees. The company returned to quarter-over-quarter revenue growth in Q1 and increased revenues throughout the year.
BROADBAND GROWTH
iPass increased broadband revenues by nearly 90 percent to $75 million in 2007. We now offer Wi-Fi and hotel Ethernet at more than 95,000 venues in over 80 countries and 3G mobile broadband subscriptions in North America, Europe and Asia.
STREAMLINED OPERATIONS
iPass completed its operational restructuring in November 2007. This entailed a reduction in our workforce and an increased reliance on our operations in India. We expect these changes to deliver up to $3 million per quarter of net savings.
FINANCIAL GROUNDWORK FOR PROFITABLE GROWTH
We entered 2008 with $75 million in cash and no debt. With a substantial order pipeline and growing broadband, software and services revenues, iPass is positioned to make 2008 a successful and profitable year.
CUSTOMER GROWTH
iPass continues to grow its blue-chip customer base while enjoying 99 percent customer retention. iPass added 40 Forbes Global 2000 accounts, bringing its total to 417 of the Forbes Global 2000. In addition, iPass increased its overall customer base.
