Call 1-877-RAD-PROS for Emergency Response Services

In September 2004, Duratek introduced a 24-hours-per-day / 7-days-per-week, toll-free emergency response number for any type of radiological emergency. Stickers and magnets promoting this service have been distributed at several recent trade shows and in mailings to several associations. Duratek personnel have operated at Departments of Energy and Defense sites, and also at commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities covering the past 40 years.
Many times, Duratek personnel are on site within hours. Over 200 trained radiation specialists are on call and can be mobilized from offices and facilities around the country. With a complete line of instrumentation and equipment, a mobile laboratory for quick on-site analysis, our own casks and transport equipment, and off-site waste processing facilities, Duratek can provide a comprehensive service to clients. Duratek personnel also provide pre-emergency training, so that site personnel are prepared in case a radiological incident occurs.
