During the 2012-2013 academic year, international enrollments in U.S. institutions were up 7.2% year-over-year to an all-time high, according to a survey by the Institute for International Education. |
In 2012, APEI formed a relationship with and made an investment in New Horizons, a global IT training company with more than 300 locations in 70 countries. Over the last 30 years, New Horizons has trained and certified over 15 million students and professionals through instructor-led teaching at centers and through synchronous and asynchronous online and blended learning instruction. As part of APEI’s strategic plan to accelerate outreach to international students, the company is building a program with New Horizons to increase the number of international students studying at APUS and to build strategic relationships with New Horizons’ other business customers.
