Millipore’s Biopharmaceutical & Research business segment includes products and services provided to pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, food and beverage companies, university and government laboratories, and research institutes.
– Applications: Millipore products are used to provide the ultrapure water needed for research; to purify, sterilize, concentrate and isolate various biologicals, chemicals and particulates; to clarify, purify and sterilize pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals; to sterilize and provide quality control for hospital pharmacy admixtures; to develop OEM home diagnostic kits, clinical lab devices and infection control devices. Millipore services are used to accelerate and simplify regulatory compliance and quality control.
