At U.S. Cellular, customer satisfaction is everyone's responsibility. When Network Field Engineer Dave Booher learned that customer Bob Davidson was having trouble using his cell phone at home, Dave took the time to drive around the neighborhood to verify that there were no problems with our network. Dave knocked on the customer's door and asked if he could check out Mr. Davidson's handset. When it turned out to be a handset malfunction, Dave went to the nearest U.S. Cellular store, picked up a new handset and personally delivered it to the customer's home. Now Mr. Davidson, whose retirement career includes shuttling rental cars between his home in North Carolina and Knoxville, Tenn., is always connected to his wife, Margaret, and their four children and nine grandchildren across the country.
