Being an Engineer Technician means staying
on the cutting edge of new technology. When the company
launches a new hematology instrument, the engineering
technicians install systems in the beta sites, perform data
collection for FDA submission, and train field service
personnel. Every day is an adventure, because the things
we’re working on represent the latest innovations. We get
to do a lot of thinking on our feet and we have to look at
things in a new way.
The UniCel® DxH – our next generation hematology
System – is a great example. Because of the way it’s
designed, it’s going to change our customers’ processes
substantially. They’re going to be able to process more
results and more test parameters. And there are even
better things to come.
